Invention for sure cannot be considered in terms of natural elements like air, but Nike’s technology managed to re-invent it instead.
On Wednesday 13th March, Nike along with Ministry and our fellow-neighbours at ΤΩΡΑ/Κ44 had an unforgettable party for the launch of the
“Air Re-Invented” campaign, celebrating the releases of the brand new Air Max EM (Engineered Mesh) as well as the re-release of the Air Max OG series.
In the beginning of the event Nike showcased both series, honouring a number of Athens’ underground culture influentials, like DJ Noiz, graffiti-artist Same Chris and photographer Dreamer with a customized pair of Nike Air Max 1 EM with their name printed on the insole.
After the presentation, the commendation and the coverage from the Press, the event was followed up by a crazy party at ΤΩΡΑ/Κ44 empowered by the guaranteed nasty grooves of DJ-Noiz’s set.
Good friends, sneakerheads, party lovers and many other cool people
showed up, proving once again that original never dies.
We’d like to thank Nike for the exceptional organization of the whole
event and ΤΩΡΑ/K44 for providing their space and bar for the accomplishment of this great gig!
